Morriston Snooker Academy

The Academy was formed in September 2000 and is designed to encourage and develop the interest of players of all ages and abilities. The group sessions are supervised by Certified Coaches working under the governing W.B.S.A Coaching Foundation and split into three sections, Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced.

The coaching follows a certified structure, giving all pupils the opportunity to improve and progress at their own speed. For the more competitive players there are regular Academy Tournaments,which prepare them for the more formal W.B.S.A ranking tournaments. The leading players in each age group go on to represent Wales in International competitions.

All pupils gain self-confidence ,a real sense of honesty and respect for each other from the game of snooker as well as an improvement to their concentration skills. As well as group coaching there is also available one to one specialised coaching for enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels who wish to improve their game.

As in all sport technique is the basis for any improvement.
